Numerical Levels & Competence Categories
By administering these types of test, we are able to grade the student’s command of English and other languages in each individual skill area and thereby, to assign a meaningful level of overall communicative competence. The testing process also provides initial indications of those language areas requiring attention during the early stages of the student’s training course.
The RLC Assessment Scale (1-10) and Competence Categories (Accuracy, Fluency, Aural Comprehension, Vocabulary, Appropriacy, Pronunciation, Intonation, Structural Complexity, Business competence, Social competence, Writing) are detailed enough to give an accurate profile for each student.
